CDI Surrey Dental Event



With 3D Printing on an upward surge since the early 2010s, it has found a very useful application in the world of dental technology.  Jacky’s Business Solutions showcased a 3D digital dentistry at a Dental Conference in Dubai on February 4.   The integration of new technology into the dental industry is quite apparent and CDI Surrey is already taking its first step into incorporating this into its Dental programs.

CDI is pleased to announce that we will be holding a Dental event on our campus on Wednesday February 26th, 2014 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm.

At this event, there will be displays, thorough dental lab demonstrations, and tours of our state-of-the-art clinics.  To make things interesting for our guests, there will be prizes given out at the main entrance.  To enhance the learning experience for all our attendees, there will be guest speakers that will provide professional insight into each of the four disciplines (CE Credits available): dental reception coordinator, dental assisting, dental technology, and denturist.

Some of the speakers that will be present at our event are Dr. Wilson Kwong, the College of Dental Technicians of BC, the Dental Technician’s Association of BC, Dentsply Canada, and Sinclaire Dental. 

We look forward to continue building great relationships with our sponsors and putting on a great event for all the people that are looking to participate.  There is less than a month left until the event so please RSVP as soon as possible by sending an email to deej.james@eminata.com or calling at 604-585-8585.

    I know that there are dental events that you can go to and are very interesting to attend. Personally I am not a dentist, but one of my sisters is and she took me to one. They actually inform you of a lot of things at these events. I actually learned a lot about dental work while I was there.

    It is pretty exciting to see 3D printing technology making its way into all sorts of fields. Especially in the dental profession, there are so many practical uses for everyday situations. Imagine an injury in which the person broke part of their jaw and many teeth. In a day or two, they could have replacement teeth and maybe even jaw bones printed for them and installed. http://www.anydaydental.com

    It would make sense that 3D printing is something that benefits the dental world. Most offices have models that show different aspects of the mouth or teeth. I find that helpful because I am a visual learner.
